GeoView has upgraded their borehole logging equipment with the purchase of the latest Mount Sopris optical imaging system. The QL40-OBI-2G Optical Televiewer produces an extraordinarly clear, sharp, 360 degree continuous unwrapped digital picture of the borehole wall. Resolutions up to 1800 pixels over the borehole circumference can be achieved, which makes this televiewer ideal for lithological, mineralogical and infrastructure studies.
