Our Mission
GeoView’s mission is to provide non-intrusive, geophysical information to our clients. This information will save our clients’ money, time and enhance their safety and ability to perform their tasks. These services will be provided by well-trained motivated professionals using the most-appropriate and current technologies.
Who We Are
GeoView, Inc. is a subsidiary of Ambient Technologies, Inc. (ATI) and was established in 2002 to provide a complete range of surface geophysical services. Our staff consists of a team of professional geologists, geophysicists and technicians who through their 100+ years of combined experience have conducted and managed more than 20,000 geophysical projects throughout the United States, Caribbean, South and Central America. Our services include geological, environmental and infrastructure investigations, utility and rebar locating, archaeological studies and marine surveys. We carry both comprehensive and professional liability insurance.
Our parent company, Ambient Technologies, Inc, was founded in 1992 and is based in St. Petersburg, Florida. ATI and its subsidiaries are certified as a minority-owned business enterprise (MBE) by the State of Florida, a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) by the Florida Department of Transportation and a small disadvantaged business (SDB) by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Our affiliate, ATI Panamericana S.A. is headquarted in Panama City, Panama. Our close working relationship helps bring local geologic knowlege and logistical support to our geophysical projects in Central and South America.
Insurance
GeoView maintains a range of insurance coverage designed to enhance protection of the company and its clients. GeoView's insurance coverage includes general commercial and professional liability, automobile, workman’s compensation, employer’s liability, and contractor’s pollution liability up to $2,000,000 per occurrence and $4,000,000 aggregate. GeoView's international insurance consists of general and pollution liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in aggregate.
Health and Safety
GeoView's goal is to be vigilant and pro-active concerning health and safety (H&S) issues on the job. Our firm has a safety record of minimal reportable and lost-day accident events and maintains OSHA Form 300 logs. Employees working with environmental projects are certified in OSHA’s Health and Safety for Hazardous Waste Operations program and undergo annual medical checkups to monitor health conditions. GeoView has a corporate H&S manual and prepares site-specific H&S plans for major projects. Our Experience Modification Rate is consistently below 1.0.
