Sediment Thickness Study

A  geophysical survey was conducted within an enclosed lagoon. An outflow pipe from a drainage area was located along the north bank of the lagoon. The purpose of the study was to locate and map the extents of a possible sediment plume from the outflow pipes. Using our Edgetech full Spectrum CHIRP sub-bottom profiler, we successfully mapped the lateral and vertical extents of the sediment plume.
