Approach

Our Unique Approach

At GeoView, we understand that the earth is complex. We also know that a single geophysical method is not capable of unraveling all of these complexities. For this reason, GeoView owns and operates a wide-ranging array of geophysical consulting and methods. These include GPR, Seismics, Electrical Resistivity, Magnetics, Electromagnetics, Sonic Echo Testing, Electronic Utility Locating, Thermal Imaging, Bathymetric Profiling, Sub-Bottom Profiling and Side Scan Sonar. For GPR alone, our current assortment of antenna frequencies include 100 MHz, 200 MHz, 250 MHz, 270 MHz, 400 MHz, 500 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1300 MHz, 1600 MHz, 2300 MHz and 2600 MHz antennas from the world’s leading manufacturers.

We also believe that proficiency with geophysical equipment only comes through a combination of professional training, mentorship and years of hands on experience.  Our projects are managed by licensed professionals who have the tools and the knowledge to bring the appropriate method to each job. Our team members are capable of evaluating data in the field and, if necessary, to make changes to the project scope in order to achieve our client’s objectives. Often more than one method is brought to a project site in order to ensure the success of a project. All of GeoView’s employees have gone through extensive in-house training and outside certification courses to become proficient and knowledgeable in order to optimize the capabilities of each of the geophysical tools that brought to a project site.

Partnership With Our Clients
We ask for and routinely receive confirmation of our findings from our clients. By establishing an on-going partnership relationship with our clients we are able to constantly improve ourselves and maintain our reputation as the company to call when the job needs to be done right.

Technical Expertise vs. The Art Of Geophysics
Technical expertise can be obtained through education, supplemental training and equipment manuals. The art is only obtained from being exposed to a wide variety of projects, having one’s geophysically derived conclusions confirmed with a back hoe or drill rig and years of “making it work out in the field”. This is what makes GeoView different. We have had the opportunity to work for decades on a multitude of projects in many different environments using a wide variety of geophysical equipment.
